Action Plan

  • Create a new brand identity and integrated communication strategy to engage key stakeholders for the JMI for the Global Entrepreneurship program
  • Develop a series logo, creative assets, messaging and promotional materials to engage and raise awareness of JMI’s program 
  • Create, launch and manage a website for the new series 
  • Coordinate series events, including evening receptions, speaker presentations and post-event roundtable discussions with local experts and series attendees
  • Promote the speaker’s series through e-newsletter outreach, earned media and paid advertising

Results

  • Established the “Advice Straight Up” brand for JMI that clearly communicated their program to nationally recognized experts, potential corporate partners, and community sponsors
  • The inaugural year (2011-2012) led to four national speakers and attracted 200 attendees for its main event
  • JMI and the university remain highly visible to business executives nationwide and continues to attract accomplished speakers
