  • Conduct research to craft messaging that clearly articulates the Ranch’s mission and offerings among target audiences (prospective donors, community partners, leaders and future participants).
  • Develop press releases and media advisories to disseminate important information to media contacts.
  • Engage local media to attend and experience the groundbreaking ceremony, offering opportunities to speak with co-founders Charlie and Tonja Ward as well as community partners that will be offering services at the Ranch. 
  • Foster relationships with the local media to keep them informed of ongoing site development and related initiatives leading up to the Ranch’s future grand opening.

  • Secured 28 earned news stories across 15 state and national outlets including television, radio, digital and print. Total coverage earned an estimated reach of 1.088 billion.
  • Reinforced name recognition and leadership positioning, with 81 percent of published stories including Charlie Ward and/or Tonja Ward as the main spokespeople.
  • Helped demonstrate the expected impact of the Ranch in the community and region for potential donors, partners and sponsors.
