Internship/Externship: Project Assistant

SalterMitchell PR is looking for college juniors, seniors and graduate students to join our team as a part-time intern/extern.

About the Position

This is a semester-long paid internship/externship on-site in our Tallahassee office. Students may also use this internship for academic credit.

Applicants are required to have completed a previous professional communications or marketing internship with an agency, nonprofit, business or public institution to be considered for this position.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Project Assistant, you will get hands-on experience working with our team to support our clients and firm marketing. This may include: 

• Develop media materials and engage in news pitching, monitoring and analysis
• Content creation (aka – brainstorming, exploring creative ideas, writing) for social and digital media placements
• Draft campaign analytics and performance reports
• Participate in client and team meetings
• Support production of our Fluent in Floridian podcast, including guest recruitment, interview questions development and episode promotion
