SalterMitchell PR is looking for college juniors, seniors and graduate students to join our team as a part-time intern/extern for a semester and help good causes win.

Our agency is based in Florida and our team works diligently to help our clients communicate with the state’s diverse population. Our focus as an agency is to work on meaningful projects. 

We work with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits like No Kid Hungry and the International Rhino Foundation, and associations like the Florida Bankers Association. They rely on us to provide innovative ideas, strategic insight, and guidance to help them make a positive impact in the nation’s third most populous state.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Content Creator, you will get hands-on experience working with our team to highlight our staff, client work, accomplishments, professional development, and awesome experiences. In short, we need someone to help us brag about ourselves!

Some of the exciting things you’ll get to work on include:

  • Working with our marketing and creative teams to produce custom graphics, videos, blog posts and other digital content
  • Content creation (aka – brainstorming, exploring creative ideas, writing)
  • Social media analysis and reporting
  • Website analysis and reporting

You will also help produce our Fluent in Floridian podcast, which features the Sunshine State’s brightest leaders talking about the issues most important to the people of Florida.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for an individual who is a self-starter, detailed-oriented, results-driven, creative and fun.

To apply, candidates are required to have most of the skills listed above under "Role and Responsibilities." We prefer for you also to have completed at least one communications internship at an agency, with a non-profit, business or public institution.

This is a paid position for up to 25 hours a week during a school semester. We offer in-person or a hybrid schedule. This position is based in our Tallahassee office. We encourage students to use this internship for academic credit.
